Other than a tiny spot that needed retouching on the trunk, this elephant is flawless and remarkably beautiful. For the touch-up, all I used was cheap "elephant gray" and "burnt umber" acrylic matte paint found at Walmart or any craft store; I mixed these two colors to get the right shade, and dabbed it into place. The area on the elephant was not significantly large so my blend of color, although slightly off, is not noticeable. In fact, immediately afterward, I myself could not find the spot that I had just retouched ...it took several minutes to locate it again. Anyway, this is not a paint review, but just wanted to share my resolution in case another customer finds themself in a similar situation. The elephant is heavy so anchor it with a screw and to a stud. I own several of these wildlife pieces and I must say, this elephant tops them all. The shipping was fast. The packaging was more than secure with boxes inside of boxes inside of Styrofoam casing, etc. I had put off ordering this particular piece, because some reviews shown broken tusks, broken ears, etc., but I am happy to say, my piece came fully intact and, again, remarkably beautiful. Yes, I would recommend this item!
