It is 1828 and Zach Connors has been in the wilds of the Rocky Mountains a few years; first with his Pa who was killed by a Grizzly and then traveling with Running Wolf, his Indian partner he rescued. Home is a dugout high in the mountains while they trap, hunt and look forward to the annual Rendezvous for trading and selling their pelts. Every year, they make friends as well as enemies, mostly due to greed. This book follows the wild adventures as Zach, known as the Grizzly Killer, and his partner as they meet every challenge.
