I bought some of these pants for my son for what I thought were the same. Turns out there are two versions of this same name, but one is winter and one is summer weight. The summer weight, the ones I want, are all sold out. The winter weight is fine fabric, but the pants are way too long. For some reason at the same size the summer weight is exactly the right length, and the winter weight pants, same size, are 8 inches too long. I had a lot of hemming to do on 8 pairs of pants. I just wish I had known I was buying pants that were not actually the same.Got this for my 11 year old son for Christmas! He was STOKED! He LOVES Under Armour everything but I don't love the price at athletic stores, especially since he is growing like a weed! When I found these pants available on Amazon for nearly half the price of what it is in our local store I jumped on it quick! What a great deal! I ordered this and a matching sweatshirt. The material and quality is incredible! It is very thick and built to last, even on a very active boy who blows the knees out of even the thickest jeans faster than I can buy them. The knees on these are still perfect! Not even thinning! He lives in them. I have to order more!I bought these pants for my son basing the size on what he normally wears and that is what I ordered. The waist was about 1 size too big, so we had to return them. We did get another pair that are now the right waist size. The material is soft and seems like the quality you would expect from Under Armour. These would have received a 5 star rating had we not had the hassle of returning, which honestly is easy with Prime. When every other pair of pants, various brands, fit him the same, not sure why UA would go away from the norm.Overall, I would definitely purchase these again, but would go a size smaller!The waist is perfect but the length.....who are these made for??? I bought a youth small and a youth medium. They're going back.Having 3 boys we have A LOT of Under Armour apparel. Mostly shirts and shorts hoodies and every season of jackets, oh and we all have UA kicks; they make really great sneakers. We love UA. Really we do. But their pants...never again. I bought 2 pair of these pants. A Small for my 9 year old and Med for my 11 year old. My kids are average height! Actually my 11 year old is considered tall for his age! I check the tag to make sure I didn't get an adult size. Nope. Youth small and youth medium.FYI UA : Not everybody's kid is as tall is a professional basketball player. Just sayin'. I'm an adult woman and I held up the medium pants and they fit ME! I'm 5"3. A youth medium should not be the same length as the pants of a five foot three adult woman..Fits larger than I hoped even after reading reviews but his other mediums were getting way too small from another place perchased. He folds the waistband up and with shoes on will work. Hoping they fit better by winter in a few months. He’s 10 years old, 90 lbs and 4 ‘10 1/2” if that helps anyone with sizing. He’s skinny but they have a drawstring he can tie to help so they aren’t too big in the waist.My son wants to wear them everyday! I will say he is typically a youth large in UA but wiry these I needed a youth XL to get the right length. Ended up buying a second pair so I didn’t have to fight with him about laundry. His favorite UA sweatpants for sure.I'm hoping these are machine washable as I can't ready ANY of the languages on the Underarmor EUROPE tag! But other than that they fit my daughter (needed wider legs) fine and will work excellent to keep her legs warm traveling to and from winter soccer. Just glad Under Armour is spelled the same in Europe as it is in English since you pretty much pay for the brand name :)My son loves these, just wish they weren't so expensive. I feel bad taking off a star, but they really shouldn't be that expensive, the profit margin must be insane. They are just so simple, but nobody else makes decent pants like these. I've tried other brands and keep coming back to pay more for UA because they fit well.My 10 year old son's new favorite pair of shorts. They fit him nicely and are made of the right material for him. I will probably be purchasing another pair.
