Wow, Vicky did it again! Outstanding continuation of the saga of the old fools.This edition had spectacular highs and heartbreaking lows.I loved the pen-pal entries. It was integral and a great laugh amidst chaos and pain. My heart was in my throat several times, truly scared - brought to tears. Laughed my butt off elsewhere. What a mix.The Christmas street party so evocative of The old Spanish village, which was delicately threaded throughout.I say this about each edition, this was the best. What a craftsperson. What dialogue. The pace is outstanding. Plenty of unexpected drama, totally expected.Again, the character development was spectacular and you can see these people clearly in your mind. Just outstanding.
